Fun, Free At- Home Learning Opportunities

Schools may be closed due to COVID-19. But learning doesn’t have stop. Here are some activities to engage your children that require limited supplies (and often limited supervision). All you need is online access.

Cincinnati Zoo Home Safari

Learning about the Ohio zoo’s animals every weekday at 3 pm EST on Facebook Live beginning Monday, March 16. The first show will feature its hippo, Fiona.

Discovery Virtual Field Trips

Visit the frozen tundra to learn about polar bears or visit a science lab. There are so many different field trips to choose from on Discovery Education’s website ranging from health to agriculture to science to STEM to sports!

McHarper Manor Art Classes

The Cincinnati based art studio will host online classes at 1 pm EST on Facebook every weekday from painting to sculpting. The schedule, along with an Amazon supply list, are posted on its event page.
